A fresh start for CVICU Shared Governance — your voice, your unit.
On the Agenda
- New leadership. Electing our new Chair and Co-Chair positions to steer the council going forward.
- A true revival. Openly addressing the issues we're currently dealing with on the unit — and turning them into action items.
- Team member health. Expanding the Night Shift Health Initiative into broader tools and habits that support our well-being and prevent burnout. It started as Javi's BSN capstone project for night-shift wellness, but it's built to be accessible to everyone — dayshift included (good sleep matters on every shift!).
- Colleague support. Strengthening the ways we back each other up — mentorship, onboarding, and day-to-day support tools.
Come with ideas. This council only works when it's ours — bring a topic, volunteer for a role, or just show up and listen. Everyone is welcome.

visible to everyone or send it privately to leadership.
This is our accountability log. Everything posted here
becomes a standing agenda point for our meetings — we'll work through them, give each a
status (New → Under Review → In Progress → Resolved), and post updates right on the
item so you can track progress. Nothing gets quietly dropped; if it's logged, it gets addressed
or explored.
